Let’s see, where to start? Oh, I know…

First, my parents are both making me feel guilty that I’m moving to SoCal. They say things like “you’re so damn inconsiderate of our feelings,” “you might as well never see or talk to us ever again,” etc. they do this every single day, at least 3 times a day. If you know me, I can’t handle feeling guilt. I get worked up because I always feel like I’m the bad person, and I hate it.

Next thing, my brother. In worried about him. I get worried about a lot of things, actually. He’s doing some really bad things. The only reason he still lives with us is because I convinced my dad to let him stay. Now that I’m moving away, I’m scared for what’s going to happen to him.

Third, I’m lonely. Not like relationship wise, though I am lonely in that sense too, but just over all. My parents don’t give a shit about anything besides grades/education, my brother is never home, my friends barely talk to me outside of school, and because I’m not considered attractive by anyone, I have no significant other to talk to about all of this, either. Yes, I could try to talk to my friends more, but I’m going to be real here. I don’t think they actually care. They just “care” because they feel like they SHOULD care, out of the sake of being friends. There’s no legitimacy in it.

Fourth, I have a really low self esteem. This has been brought up by years(since 3rd grade) of people telling me I’m ugly, unattractive, fat, stupid, etc. I see all my friends get boyfriends/girlfriends, have girls/guys crush over them, and stuff like that, and then there’s me. The one who never gets asked to dances. Never goes on little dates. Never flirts. Never gets complimented on what I wear. Never gets complimented on when I actually try. I don’t even wear anything “cute” at this point anyway, since I know no one will care. I am forever unattractive Nisha, and I hate it. I try to raise my self esteem sometimes, improving my nail skills, my makeup skills, etc. but it never helps. People just look passed me and go straight to my friends. I never get the feeling of special-ness.

All of these things get in my mind at the exact same time, every single freaking day. And you know what I always do? Go into the bathroom, sit on the floor, curl up in a ball, and just cry. That’s all I feel like I can do at this point.

So, yeah. That’s about it. Thank you a lot for your concern, I needed to get that out.

Also I just feel that I’m distancing myself from my friends. Like, of course I still hang out with them whenever they ask me every now and then, but I don’t talk to them about anything emotionally personal. I bitch about irrelevant shit sometimes, but besides that, I don’t show any of my emotions. I used to be so good at expressing my emotions sophomore year. But then 75% of my friendships fell apart, which made me recede into my shell.
